Thin content

Thin content is a page with too little original, useful information to deserve a place in search results.

Area pages that swap one neighbourhood name into the same template, and listing pages with only a price and a photo, are the common real estate examples. Adding genuine local data, such as live counts, asking prices and recent sales, is what separates a useful page from a thin one.

Why it matters to an agent

Lots of thin pages can drag down how search engines treat the whole site.
