VOW (Virtual Office Website)

A VOW (Virtual Office Website) is a brokerage website where registered users, after agreeing to terms, can see listing data that isn't allowed on public pages.

The VOW model treats the site as a virtual version of the brokerage office: a consumer who registers and accepts the terms enters a relationship similar to walking in the door, so boards permit richer data, such as sold prices in some markets, behind the login.

VOW data stays behind that login. It can't be copied onto public, indexable pages.

Why it matters to an agent

Sold data is what sellers and serious buyers want most. A VOW lets you offer it in exchange for a registration, which is a lead.
