Members can use DDF® to publish their own listings and, where the listing brokerage has opted in, other members' listings too. The feed carries the listing details and photos, and comes with display rules on attribution, update frequency and how the data may be used.
Access runs through a technology provider the member authorizes, which is why a website vendor asks you to approve a DDF® connection before listings can appear on your site.
Why it matters to an agent
Listing pages are the pages buyers search for. A DDF® feed is how most Canadian agents get them onto their own domain instead of only on portals.
